Jacob Katz, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in non-surgical orthopedics, adult and pediatric sports medicine, and interventional pain medicine. He offers comprehensive care for patients of all ages and levels of athleticism in two convenient locations. His approach is to educate his patients about their bodies, conditions, and treatment options while working to guide them through recovery. Dr. Katz welcomes patients at either his office in Brooklyn, New York, or Manalapan, New Jersey.
Among his experience, Dr. Katz has completed fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Non-Surgical Orthopedic Medicine at Bayfront Health Medical Center and Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital in Michigan. Dr. Katz has served as a team physician for NCAA Division I and NCAA Division II colleges, multiple high schools, professional soccer teams, and hockey teams.
He currently volunteers to cover triathlons, running races, and is an appointed ring-side physician for professional boxing and mixed martial arts (MMA).
